Medical Certificate to Exports of Fish Products for Human Consumption to Republic of Turkey

  • The applicant must be an accredited company
  • Application is submitted for one shipment
  • Application is submitted to the Quality Control Department
  • If exporting, the medical certificate is issued by Veterinary Quarantine - livestock
  • Goods are subject to inspection based on risk assessment criteria
  • Fresh fish, one in every 35 shipment
  • Frozen fish, one in every 75 shipment
  • Canned fish, one in every three (samples taken from all shipments)

  • Approval of the permits shall be within two hours of the application, during the official working hours and for seven days a week (All days).
  • Release of Shipment round the clock, non-stop 24 hours; i.e. the release of the shipment submitted shall be within two hours of submitting the goods for the inspection of the relevant authority.
