Medical Certificate to Exports of Fish Products for Human Consumption to Republic of Turkey

- The requirements of the European Community are subject to regular change, based on the change of risk
- The applicant must be an accredited company
- Application is submitted for one shipment
- Application is submitted to the Quality Control Department
- If exporting, the medical certificate is issued by Veterinary Quarantine - livestock
- Goods are subject to inspection based on risk assessment criteria
- Fresh fish, one in every 35 shipment
- Frozen fish, one in every 75 shipment
- Canned fish, one in every three (samples taken from all shipments)
- Approval of the permits shall be within two hours of the application, during the official working hours and for seven days a week (All days).
- Release of Shipment round the clock, non-stop 24 hours; i.e. the release of the shipment submitted shall be within two hours of submitting the goods for the inspection of the relevant authority.
