Permit to Import Aquaculture for Fish Farming

- Importers & Exporters.
- A certificate of origin and a health certificate indicating the absence of diseases issued by a veterinary authority accredited in the country of origin and certified by the Sultanate's embassy in that country or any other body accepted by the competent authority in countries where the Sultanate has no diplomatic representation.
- Imported shipment for fish farming shall be held in quarantine to ensure their safety and not to contaminate the water and the environment with their residues or any means necessary to maintain.

- The fees for issuing permit to import aquaculture for the purpose of fish farming is (5 OMR).
- CITES Permit.
- No objection letter (MOEC).
- Test Certificate.
- Veterinary Medical Certificate.
Approval of the permits shall be within two hours of the application, during the official working hours and for seven days a week (All days).
Release of Shipment round the clock, non-stop 24 hours; i.e. the release of the shipment submitted shall be within two hours of submitting the goods for the inspection of the relevant authority.
