- Application is submitted for one shipment.
- The permit for one-time use and valid for six months from the date of issue.
- The application must be submitted before the purchase order of the goods is completed.
- Issuing the permit must be done before the purchase of the goods is completed.
- Documentation requirements may vary depending on the Ministry's assessment of risk.
- The Ministry may impose special requirements for testing or handling.
- The Ministry may specify special entry requirements in the general or special conditions section of the permit.
- Inspection of goods is mandatory.
- Phytosanitary certificate.
- Manifest or bill of lading.
- Entry certificate.
- Certificate of origin.
- Approval of the permits shall be within two hours of the application, during the official working hours and for seven days a week (All days).
- Release of Shipment round the clock, non-stop 24 hours; i.e. the release of the shipment submitted shall be within two hours of submitting the goods for the inspection of the relevant authority.
